Hear Mike Nichols—one of very few people ever to score the grand slam of major American entertainment awards, an Oscar, four Emmys, eight Tonys and a Grammy—talk about directing his current Broadway play, Arthur Miller’s “Death of a Salesman,” and his career on stage and screen. Mr. Nichols directed, among others, the Broadway plays “Barefoot in the Park,” “The Odd Couple,” “The Real Thing” and “Spamalot”; the award-winning TV series “Angels in America”; and some of the most iconic films in American cinema, including “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” “The Graduate,” “Catch 22,” “Carnal Knowledge” and “Silkwood.”
