The Witches of Gambaga



The University of Tulsa Institute for Trauma, Adversity, and Injustice (TITAN) presents:

“The Witches of Gamgaga” by Amina Mama and Yaba Badoe

On Thursday, February 13th & Monday, February 17th at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $9.00 for General Admission & $7.00 for Students.

The Witches of Gambaga is the extraordinary story of a community of women condemned to live as witches in Northern Ghana, in Western Africa. Painful experience and insight come together to create an intimate potrait of the lives of women ostracized by their communities.

-A panel discussion will be held on February 13th following the film. A photo exhibit of women and children living in witch camps will be on display in the lobby. Ghanaian jewelry will be available for sale.
