Opening Thursday, May 24, 5:30pm – 7:30pm.
Heathyr Chenoweth is a local Tulsa artist with a love for color. Her dad coined the term for her style “electric impressionism.” Chenoweth prefers acyclic to other mediums because, “it is more forgiving” she stated. Once the painting is finished she adds details with bright colored paint markers which she feels “adds movement to the pieces.” She teaches art lessons through Canvas Oklahoma, and the Tulsa Art Center. The title of her upcoming show is Seasoned City, and will feature brightly colored pieces of nostalgic Tulsa signs and buildings. She will donate a percentage of sales to the Kendall Whittier Main Street program. Her website is Heathyrchenoweth.com
