Auburn car show – Q&A following film with Doug Pray (Glenn Pray’s son) and Felix DeGuyter (general manager of plant).
Chronicles the story of Glenn Pray, president and owner of one of the Oldest Car Company’s in the United States, the Auburn – Cord – Duesenberg – Company. In 1960 he dared to do what others, including Preston Tucker, had attempted – to build and sell a new type of automobile. Not only did he do it once; he did it again and again. First he introduced a modern version of the Cord Automobile and later would put the Auburn Speedster back into production.
This documentary won 1st at the 2004 Bare Bones Independent Film Festival. The documentary is by Cameron University associate professor Dr. Matt Jenkins.
