Muhammad Ali Special Event

On Monday, July 25th beginning with a 6:00 PM reception, the non-profit Circle Cinema will host a special event honoring the late Muhammad Ali with a screening of the 1996 Oscar-winning documentary feature, WHEN WE WERE KINGS, beginning shortly after 7pm.
Special guests will include Henry Primeaux who will share a collection of photos, memorabilia, and stories; Jim Goodwin (Oklahoma Eagle) and Bill Haisten (Tulsa World sports columnist) who will also share stories of Ali with our guests.
 About the film:
The highly acclaimed film by Leon Gist depicts the famous “Rumble in the Jungle” heavyweight boxing championship match in 1974 between Ali and George Foreman in Zaire.
General admission tickets for the event are $15, or $10 for Circle Cinema members. Tickets are available online at Circle Cinema or at the cinema box office.
